Chef / Owner John Walla welcomes you to his vision of what a casual restaurant should be. One that offers a variety of flavors, a relaxed setting that allows the diner to come in as you are for a burger and beer, or to get dressed up for a night on the town and have Champagne & Filet Mignon. Since I started cooking I realized food does not have to be fussed with. The perfect recipe consist of top quality ingredients and a few other flavors to enhance it and nothing else. John brings a background and level of service to Black Eyed Susan’s and over 23 years experience that is usually found in larger cities. A graduate of Baltimore’s International Culinary College, John oversees the kitchen and food preparation and, as owner, daily operations of Black Eyed Susan.
